I’ve been watching Home Improvement full on for about a week. And it’s made me realise how much I’ve always loved Tim+Jill. Their love is beautiful
They don’t have a ‘perfect’ marriage. They fight, they’ve been attracted to other people, they’ve had hard times, there’s things they don’t agree on. But none of that matters. Because of their love
Two of my favourite episodes are in S7. Jill’s Passion and Taking Jill For Granite. Jill and Ian are attracted to each other. And that freaks her out. I love her talk with Tim at the end of JP. They have a real, honest discussion about their relationship. And then there’s the passion. It’s a perfect example of why I ship them
The show is classic, imo. Consistently funny, a solid family connection, strong friendships, with a good dose of added emotionWOW YES THIS JUST THIS AND ONLY THIS

I recently started watching Home Improvement. I’ve gotten to the last 10 episodes of the entire show. When I got to the end of this episode it made me realize how much of a nervous wreck Tim would be waiting for Jill. Combined with how things have been going with me now and how this episode went I shed a tear. It’s episodes like this and the next that shows how much of a great series it really was. With all the humor it showed and the periodic lessons they learned every episode, the serious episodes like this one really gets to you.
^ this. I love this episode so much, and the ending, when Tim starts to pray, even tho he mocks Wilson for his Indian chantings ahahah. They managed to make this episode appropriately funny and serious, it’s genius writing omg.
